The other disciple who had reached the tomb first went in; he saw and he believed. Till this moment they had failed to understand the teaching of scripture, that Jesus must rise from the dead. (John 20)

Maka masuklah juga murid yang lain, yang lebih dahulu sampai di kubur itu dan ia melihatnya dan percaya. Sebab selama itu mereka belum mengerti isi Kitab Suci yang mengatakan, bahwa Ia harus bangkit dari antara orang mati. (Yoh 20:8-9)
